Joinery...Kingston style

Mark your calenders for the 28th of February and head down to Kingston, Ontario for the Kingston Woodworkers Association's Joinery Symposium. You can spend the day talking joints and learning from a line-up of pretty talented guys. Here are the detail you need:

Woodworking Joinery Symposium

  •  WHEN: 28 February 2015, 9am - 4pm
  • WHERE: Frontenac Secondary School, 1789 Bath Rd Kingston ON (Google it for a map and directions)
  • WHAT: A full day of joinery technical knowledge, designed to demystify wood joinery and help you understand which joint works best in which situation… then how to go about making them. A full day of wood fun and learning. Included is over $1,500 in door prizes and a great BBQ lunch.
  • FEE: Early Bird (before January 31 st) - $35 for KWA/OWA members or Students $50 all others (opportunity to join available) At the door - $45 for KWA/ OWA members or Students $65 all others (opportunity to join at the door)

Sadly I have to miss this event because I'm teaching dovetailing at the Ottawa Lee Valley that day however, you are sure to have a great day. Can you think of a better way to spent a day?
